Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Bidfix is a community initiative for English speakers in Israel. We want everyone to be able to use it, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technology.

We work to make bidfix.io meet Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.

What we have done

• The site can be used with a keyboard, and keyboard focus is clearly visible
• A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page
• Text and buttons use color contrast that meets level AA
• Images have text alternatives, and icon buttons have spoken names for screen readers
• Form fields have labels, and errors are shown in text next to the field
• A clear heading structure on every page
• The site adapts to phones, tablets and computers, and text can be enlarged with the browser zoom up to 200%
• Animations are reduced when your device is set to reduce motion
• No flashing content and no content that plays sound by itself

Known limitations

We keep checking and improving the site. These parts may not be fully accessible yet:

• Photos and videos that users upload to a request or a chat do not have text descriptions
• Sign-in with Google opens pages run by Google, which we do not control
• Answers from the AI assistant are generated automatically and may not always follow a clear structure

Browsers and devices

The site is built to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on computers, and with Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android, including their built-in screen readers.

Physical accessibility

Bidfix operates online only. We do not have an office or service point that is open to the public.
