1. About Bidfix

Bidfix is a community initiative that helps English speakers in Israel find independent, English-speaking handymen for home repairs and small jobs.

When you send a request, the Bidfix team personally reaches out to handymen, collects their quotes and passes them on to you through the Platform. You then choose whether to hire one of them.

Bidfix is not a contractor and does not perform, supervise or guarantee any work. The handymen are independent professionals.

2. Your Account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform.

You agree to give accurate details, including your name, phone number and address, and to keep them up to date. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login details safe.

3. Requests and Quotes

You can send a request describing the job, with optional photos or videos, your city and address, urgency and preferred times.

To get quotes, we share the job details with handymen: the type of service, your city, the description and any photos. We do not share your name, phone number or full address with handymen at this stage.

Prices, availability and what is included in a quote are set by the handyman. Bidfix does not set prices and does not guarantee that you will receive a quote.

When you choose a quote, the chosen handyman's contact details become visible to you so you can arrange the job directly. Any agreement about the work is made between you and the handyman.

4. Fees and Payments

Using Bidfix is free. We do not charge customers or handymen any fees or commissions.

You pay the handyman directly, using a payment method you agree on with them. Bidfix does not process payments and is not responsible for payments, receipts, refunds or payment disputes.

5. How We Choose Handymen

We speak with handymen before adding them and we take customer feedback into account. However, we cannot guarantee the quality, safety, timing, licensing or insurance of any handyman's work.

Before hiring, you may ask the handyman any questions you find relevant, such as about experience, insurance or references.

Bidfix currently focuses on general handyman work. Work that requires a licensed professional, such as gas or electrical installations, should only be done by a licensed professional.

6. Responsibility for the Work

The handyman is responsible for the work they perform. Bidfix is not responsible for the quality of the work, delays, damage, injury or any loss arising from it.

If something goes wrong, tell us. We will do our best to help you communicate with the handyman, but we cannot force a resolution.

To the extent permitted by law, Bidfix's liability in connection with the Platform is limited, and Bidfix is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

7. The AI Assistant

The AI assistant gives general information about Bidfix and about home repairs, including rough price estimates. Its answers may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not professional advice.

Do not rely on the assistant for safety decisions, and do not share sensitive personal information in it.

8. Acceptable Use

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Send false, misleading or abusive requests or messages
• Harass, threaten or mistreat handymen or the Bidfix team
• Use handymen's contact details for anything other than arranging the job you requested
• Try to access other users' information or interfere with the Platform's operation

9. Content You Upload

You keep ownership of the photos, videos and text you upload. You allow Bidfix to store them and share them with handymen as needed to handle your request.

Please do not upload photos that show people or personal documents.

10. Changes to the Platform and to These Terms

We may update, change or stop parts of the Platform at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new date. Continuing to use the Platform means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Suspending Accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or the law, or that puts other users or handymen at risk.

You may ask us to delete your account at any time from your Profile page or by email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute will be decided by the competent courts in Israel.
